Grrrrooowwwwrrr!
Today is Owen’s birthday. Happy Birthday babe! As you can see, he’s as relaxed as ever about it. That would be the bucks fizz he’s had for breakfast.
Today is also our little cat’s birthday, we think (long story).
So, birthday celebrations all round today. Alas, there will be no birthday barbecue as it’s very wet and rainy out. But there will be friends coming round later for food and drink and general merriment.
But it might be best not to mention how many candles there wil be on a certain gardening assistant’s cake - he’s like a bear with a sore head if you mention that number…

Ooh Happy Birthday to assistant gardeners and cats! It’s supposed to be raining here but we’ve got brilliant sunshine. Perfect really as it tipped down last night so I don’t have to water. Yay!
Are we allowed to guess Owen’s age, or will you give us a clue?! Are noughts involved?

You have sunshine? Now I’m growling! No zeros involved in the birthday. In fact, at 36 he’s much further away from the next big birthday than I am. So unfair.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day (and so did the cat!). It rained all day, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. The rain’s back again today, of course, with a strong, gusty wind as well. Not to worry, I have some great presents to cheer me up!
