Christmas presents

Yes, I know it’s February, but I have today finally ordered my own Christmas presents.  A number of lovely people gave me money as a present for me to put towards a new lens for the camera and as this involves a not inconsiderable outlay, I have spent quite a lot of time trying to decide what lens to buy.  This is not an easy task for someone who knows so little about camera equipment!  Still, I made a decision and managed to get the lens I wanted for £150 less than I expected to pay for it.  Result!  This means that I was also able to buy myself a new kit bag and still have money left over for, well, who knows what?

I’m hoping to make more of my photographs on P’Soup in the future so one way or another you will be able to judge for yourself whether my bargain purchase is a canny choice.
