*Blink*
I can feel myself begin to emerge from my end of year blog hibernation (I think I might actually make it official next year, hang a sign on the front page saying ‘closed for sleep’ and not kid myself that I will have anything to say for the whole of November and December) and the tips of my fingers are starting to get that familiar itch which tells me I am ready to sit down to write. Either that or I have really bad circulation.
I don’t tend to hunt with the pack, so although we’ve started a brand new year I won’t be taking stock, reviewing or resolving here and now. I do quite enough of all that as I go along so the change of year doesn’t really signify a clean start for me. Although, having said that, I have spent the last few days cleaning, tidying and sorting through our home and our finances (the joy of the tax return - give me strength!) and my first thoughts on sitting down to P’Soup today have been about what needs tidying up here. Various things need updating now that we no longer have an allotment (not least the URL - don’t worry, we’ll redirect you when we do evntually change). I’m also wondering about how I can do more here with the pictures I take as I would like to push myself to take more and better photographs this year.
Still, these are just the half-asleep thoughts of someone still groggy from blogbernation so who knows what I will actually feel like doing once I’ve rubbed the crud from my eyes?
I just hope I still have some readers left to keep me company. Happy 2008 everyone!

Still here, still listening! And don’t worry I think hibernation is perfectly understandable! The garden is mosly sleepy anyway.
