Dreaming of future harvests
Having completed the raised beds (bar the compost) and the shed building (bar the painting) I have been entertaining myself by planning what I might plant where. Knowing myself as I do I think it’s safe to say that the plan I have drawn up will not be stuck to, but it’s a starting point.
The beds are pretty wide and so will be sub-divided using bamboo or the remaining quarry tiles we have. It’s difficult to get much sense of how much will fit in at the moment. I know that with raised beds you can squash more in together, but it’s difficult to judge how much space we need to allow. Only time will tell.
Now all I have to do is get the manure delivered, fill the beds and start planting for winter. Oh, is that all?

Bamboo for paths? how does that work? Sounds terrific!

Ah no, not for paths, but simply to give a visual dividing line as I split up the beds. All will become clear when I get around to doing it and can then post somepictures!
