A watched pot

I’m supposed to be working, but I am waiting very impatiently for my Christmas present to arrive and it is therefore very difficult to concentrate. Every time I hear a car or van on the street I rush to the window to see if I’m about to have a parcel brought to my door.

No luck so far.
