Courgettes the size of footballs.

We stayed only for about an hour, filling up two bags with weeds, but we [...]

Back to reality

We’re home - welcomed at the door by the cat who has since not left my side (aw - she missed me!). And now we have chores, chores, chores to look forward to.
Tomorrow we gird our loins and visit the allotment.
In the meantime, I have uploaded our holiday photos here so you can finally [...]

So it’s goodnight from me…

Still, leaving has been hard. At UCE I have been part of a really [...]

Gourmet plans

Having pretty much finished the last of my broad beans, I am now ready to share my disappointment in them. It seems like sacrilege after the sweat and toil involved in the journey from seed to plate to say this, but say it I will.
Last year my broad beans were a product of an [...]
