In bocca al lupo

Today I have a day off work which has actually coincided with gorgeous sunshiney weather. Alas, I have a day off work because I have my Italian oral exam in the early evening.

Still, I have been taking advantage of the conditions to plant out my strawberries in the garden while practising my presentation: “Vorrei parlare della salute mentale degli italiani. E’ vero che stare sano e’ importante per tutti…” Since the strawberries are a variety called Florence, I am hopeful that they will respond to being talked to in what I assume is their mother tongue. Even if I am speaking to them about rates of mental illness.

Perhaps that means I will end up with mad strawberries - le mie fragole sono pazze!

No doubt I will update you later about how I get on. In the meantime, crepi il lupo!
