I got those red baron and edzell blues…

Yesterday evening as the sun went down we made a start on our allotment list. The weather was bright but really very cold, it even snowed briefly and lightly before we set out. I can’t say we did much. Owen continued digging over a bed and I planted a few of my Red Baron onion sets as well as a few rows of my Edzell Blue potatoes.

I had planned to return this evening - I suppose it’s still possible that we might - but after a day that started crazily early that has left me with throbbing temples and an aching back, I’m not sure I’m up to it. Maybe tomorrow.
