Pumpkin Soup

a weblog with an allotment attached

That ol’ black plastic

I’ve practically forgotten what the allotment looks like, it’s been that long since we were there, what with rehearsals and the concert and generally being sociable.

Snail and oak leaf

But all that’s about to change. We’re just about to head down to reacquaint ourselves with the plot, to do some final levelling and to lay the black plastic. Ah, the black plastic. How very … practical.

Crocuses

We may have forgotten where the allotments actually are, so it could be some time before I post again. If you don’t hear back from me in a day or two, send out search parties. We’ll be easy to spot; crazy people carrying a large roll of black plastic and garden gloves.
