Adam Ant and the Tornadoes
You might have heard that there was some pretty extreme weather down my way yesterday. There is chaos round here, a number of people have been hurt and some homes will have to be demolished. We’re just far enough south to have missed the worst of it. On our street you wouldn’t know that anything had happened, but five minutes walk away on the high street it’s carnage - roofs off, shop fronts destroyed and trees down. Unbelievable.
As is usual when I can’t get my head round momentous events, I headed down to the allotment today and pulled up potatoes and onions while listening and singing along to Prince Charming. The singing part is not usual. Fun though.
Tornadoes and Adam Ant - my life in Kings Heath sure is surreal sometimes.

Wow - glad you’re okay - those pictures are crazy - it looks like the kind of images you see of Florida!
I always turn to the Ant in a crisis. When I was a kid I was obsessed with Adam Ant - I even got an Adam Ant makeup kit for Christmas one year and spent at least two days with a white stripe across my nose and a heart drawn on my top lip.

I didn’t consider that the tornado was near you! EEK! Of all the places in the world to get a whirlwind you really don’t think it will hit the black country.
Good to know that things are ok with you though!
