It is with much excitement and not a little smugness that I can happily report two things. One, my Blauhilde purple french beans are flowering - shocking pink petals on deep violet snaking stems. Two, I harvested my first strawberry. Delish. And timely.

Update: OK, this is more complicated than I thought. I know what the problem is and how to solve it, but it means us losing some useful info. Gah.
