Keeping in strim
So, the plan this evening is to spend an hour chez nos weeds taking our new cordless strimmer with us. We shall cut down more green manure, cover with cardboard mulch (in preparation for pumpkins galore in the coming weeks) and make another step towards a better-managed plot.
Unless it really chucks it down with rain, in which case we’re buggered.

Well done in tooling yourself up for the job!
Hope it went well! I only managed to dig a tiny bit today, but I guess something is better than nothing, will try harder over the weekend!
