Wot, no pictures?!
You may have noticed in your many visits to P’ Soup that there is one particular aspect of the site that is lacking (aside from horticultural wisdom, that is). No photos. Visit pretty much any of the gardening/allotment blogs listed here that I read regularly and you will see gorgeous, colourful, artistic snaps of their sites, seeds, plants and pests. Pumpkin Soup seems bare and lacklustre in comparison.
Now don’t get me wrong, I think Owen’s design is just beautiful. It’s simple, understated and green, and the various vegetable shapes add a slightly funky edge. But I think the occasional, carefully chosen shot of something we grew would add something, don’t you agree?
I am hoping that this will soon change. Watch this (pictureless) space…

We must get a digital camera soon. I wonder if anyone can make a recommendation? Something reasonably priced and good quality with easy connection to Windows would be perfect. Not that I want to use it too, of course…

Oh, and thanks for saying nice things about the design. One day I’ll get round to sorting out the thousand little details that remain to be done.

What details would they be?

Well, we have had a Fuji s7000 for a while now and it is pretty good - does lovely macros of…well, pretty much anything you put close infront of it. A good site (with sample photos) is http://www.dpreview.com/ C - congrats on posting far more regularly than O!
